From spreadsheets to a single source of truth

Bluprintx Intelligence Platform

As Data Technical Lead at Bluprintx, I designed and built the internal intelligence platform for the new Data entity, from architecture standards to production pipelines and role-based access that gives every team curated, trusted datasets.

The starting point

Internal reporting relied on flat files and Excel spreadsheets. Finance, sales, and leadership each maintained their own versions of the truth. Reconciling numbers across teams was slow, error-prone, and often ended with conflicting KPIs. Nobody could confidently say which figure was correct.

A fragmented landscape after rapid growth

Years of acquisitions had left Bluprintx with a patchwork of systems and migrations. Each acquired entity brought its own tools, processes, and spreadsheets. Data lived in silos with no shared model, no lineage, and no single place to explore it.

What I built

A cloud-native data platform designed to replace manual reporting with automated, governed pipelines.

  • End-to-end data architecture

    Defined ingestion, storage, and harmonization standards across business units, a shared data model that bridges finance, delivery, sales, and marketing.

  • Prefect on Kubernetes

    Deployed a Prefect orchestration layer on Kubernetes to schedule, monitor, and retry data pipelines with full observability and CI/CD integration.

  • Role-based intelligence platform

    Built an internal intelligence platform from scratch with role-based access, teams explore curated datasets through APIs and self-service interfaces, without touching raw sources.

  • Scalable AWS pipelines & APIs

    Designed automated ingestion and transformation pipelines on AWS, exposing reliable datasets to dashboards and downstream tools via APIs.

The platform centralizes dashboards and curated datasets for each business function, replacing scattered spreadsheets with a single governed layer everyone can trust.
